作为第二代宣纸椅子的设计，“蝶”更进一步将纸的能力发挥到极致。本来柔软的宣纸，在特定的形态下呈现出超乎想象的承重能力。整个椅子的制造方式源于余杭纸伞的糊伞工艺。
用柔性的纸取代钢性材质，这也是设计师向中国传统哲学的致敬。

“Tié” represents the 2nd edition of our exhibited paper chair. This furniture describes a further step of how to turn a weightless material like paper into a stable and organic solid form. The process is inspired by the Yuhang Paper Umbrella handcraft.
The whole shell is made from irregular shaped rice paper sheets. The shape of the chair is inspired by the classical Chinese horseshoe-back armchair.

陶瓷的高硬度和易于清洗非常适合做桌面，而榉木相对柔韧的质感与陶瓷的冰清玉洁形成对比。坚硬与柔美的组合，通常会给人以共鸣，正式因为自然造物法则。由于形态像叶子上的露珠，所以取名“露”。

Two coffee tables and the bar table are creating an ensemble of porcelain tables. The durability and solidness of the material are properly fulfilling the requirements on a table surface. At the same time, porcelain is generating a warm and comfortable living atmosphere.

从毛竹，到竹纤维，再到竹纸，最后到竹纸椅。在余杭附近，仍然有一些古老的造纸村落，他们利用2年生的嫩毛竹做纸，用于书画。这个工艺已经有上千年历史。严格筛选的毛竹经过几十道工序做成纸浆，这就是这把椅子的原材料。竹纸椅帮助竹纸打开了一扇门，从专业的书画工具，进入了现代社会。

Around Yuhang there are still a few Chinese historical bamboo paper villages which are producing their paper only from natural fibers are used to create the shell for “Gù”chair. The idea is to take the material out of its original context to introduce it to a current living surrounding.

Piao 飘 -Paper Chair

基于余杭传统的纸伞制造工艺，同样沿用千年的捞纸方式，用现代材质取代竹帘，进而将纸从二维世界解放出来，自然落成的肌理，仿佛雪花洒落在光晕之上，质朴而富有诗意。

The “Luò” lamp is base on inherited methods to create bamboo paper. But now, this process is transformed into the third dimension. The simplicity in design and natural finish makes every lamp a unique piece.

竹丝，由余杭竹匠劈制而成，风干后为金黄色。顺应竹丝的自然形态，用最少的设计，放大材料本身的特质。

“Chuán” is characterized by very thin bamboo strings made by Yuhang craftsmen. After a while the pieces are becoming brown due drying. The form of the lamp just follows the nature given shape of the bamboo.

极致的竹丝，陶瓷粉，环氧树脂，传统材料与现代材料的结合，传统工艺与当下设计的碰撞，遵循竹子本身的特质进行设计，将竹丝不一样的瞬间凝结。

A material mix of bamboo, porcelain powder and epoxy resin creates a suspenseful combination of traditional and new materials. The ancient handcraft meets a nowadays design language.

纸，源于余杭的传统竹纸，

同样的制造工艺，

换一种形式，

直接作出复杂曲面的“纸张”；

山，山水画里的山，

换一种表达，

用灯光谱写水墨画意；

伫足灯下，

你以为是你在欣赏它，

却殊不知你依然成为了画中人。

The “Shān” lamp is made of the same traditional paper as it is used by Chinese artists and painters, framed by solid wood. The paper is manufactured in the ancient Chinese handmade paper production method. Mountains which are pictured in traditional local paintings are the inspiration for the organic shape. Through switching on the lamp, the landscape will be painted with light. The user does not stand in front of the painting anymore is already a part of it.

这盏灯源于余杭清水丝棉制作工艺，从蚕茧到丝棉，其中最为关键的过程是将茧在清水中展开成一个半圆形状，这盏灯便将这个瞬间记录了下来。由于灯在打开和关掉时，气氛很想日出和日落，所以命名“冉”。“日出而作，日落而息”，正是中国人传统的生活观念。

The “Rǎn” lamp symbolizes the ancient processing of silk floss and how it is still applied by local workshops in Yuhang. The object freezes one particular processing unit, when the silk is stretched in water. It appears an outstanding and unique texture. Due to the light it generates a warm and domestic living atmosphere.
