PINWU designed a store for the children's brand jnby by JNBY， under the JNBY Group.This children's store is themed "Space Wanderer"，where free-form curves intertwine with geometric shapes to evoke a futuristic cosmic feeling. A child's imagination is as vast and boundless as this universe.

Inviting you as a wanderer to step into the exploration space.

As you wander through the store, the free-flowing curves of the clothes rack resemble planetary trajectories, smoothly traversing the entire space and connecting the suspended geometric "celestial bodies." The contrast between the fluid curves and angular geometric forms is striking, while the sleek, cold metal contrasts harmoniously with the soft fabrics. This gives the space a sense of strength without losing its warmth and softness, as if you're in a balanced and harmonious universe.Children can touch the planets made of different materials, experiencing it all through their senses.

Each piece of clothing is no longer just a simple item but an object of exploration, suspended in the cosmos, waiting for them to discover.

Amidst the crisscrossing star-trail clothes racks, the geometric tables and cabinets are composed of simpler forms, occasionally pierced by a planet, breaking the stillness.

The surface of the woven planet in the central area is composed of various woven structures, with different textures and feels, as if touching the terrain of distant planets.

Crawl inside the planet, and it becomes a warm and safe nest. The glowing spheres on the inner walls illuminate the space, creating a small, cozy world. The soft materials gently envelop children, like a mother’s womb. If you get tired from exploring, just lean back and take a rest. You can be your own little prince, a child free to roam without limits.

In this little world, you can read and journey through the vast ocean of knowledge.

You can also pick up a kaleidoscope, observe the various celestial bodies above, and gaze at the colorful clothing. Then, lean into the small satellites orbiting the large planet on both sides, and communicate secrets through the big ears. Hey, did you hear that?

Adults need not worry，they can sit on the cushioned sofas and quietly accompany their children as they experience the fun of the cosmos. This is your special parent-child time together!

The entire space is not just an expression of design language; it embodies a philosophy of life—allowing children to discover and explore the world in an environment full of imagination. Through the contrast of simple geometric shapes and exaggerated object sizes, they can observe the colors and textures of materials and touch the boundaries between sharp angles and soft curves. This subtle complexity revealed in extreme simplicity ignites the curiosity of wanderers.

Texture Exploration

The entire space uses a combination of various materials. 

In terms of color, cosmic gray and earth tones are used, with bright colors as accents. In texture, there is a contrast between the hard, smooth, cold feel and the textured, warm materials. Different techniques are employed to depict planets from the solar system, such as Venus, Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, and Mercury.

Various woven structures have been experimented with, and this multi-layered variation brings a rich multi-sensory experience.

Texture Exploration of the Kaleidoscope: Unlike the previous bamboo kaleidoscope, this one features a shell made using parametric design combined with pulp 3D printing technology, adding a touch of texture to the futuristic aesthetic to achieve visual balance.

Interactive Fun

The balancing game consists of balance beams and planets made from various materials. Children can adjust and position the planets to feel how the weight of each one affects the overall balance of the system. It's a small exploration of great wonders, allowing them to experience subtle joys.
